Apprenticeships & training have always been an integral part of ION Precision’s foundation and future.

What is an apprenticeship?

This is a type of learning program that trains a worker to become skilled in a particular trade. They combine hands-on work with classroom based learning to learn and progress.

ION Precision work closely with local training providers. Including, South West Durham Training, Darlington College & Teesside University to provide a comprehensive learning opportunities covering all relevant aspects of engineering.

Engineering apprenticeships include:

• Toolmaking
• Design and manufacture
• Engineering technical support
