Reverse Engineering

At ION Precision, we offer a reverse engineering service which includes full 2D & 3D CAD drawings. To accurately manufacture from existing component parts. Taking into account existing wear, the function and environmental factors to give the best possible component that is fit for purpose.

With the help of our CMM with scanning probe head, we can easily measure profiles and accurately produce a DXF file of the path. The design team can then use this to produce a drawing for customer sign off.

Blasting / Cleaning

ION Precision have various methods of blasting and cleaning components and parts, these include a high-pressure Vixen Aqua blast and Vixen Heated chemical bath. Using these processes, we can make sure that all components are clean of any contaminants or corrosion, so they can be coated afterwards either by ourselves or sent out for coating.
