ION are a bespoke CNC precision engineering and design specialist, based in the North East.

Established in 1998, we have grown to develop the skills to cover a variety of disciplines including the manufacture of semi-automation, full-automation, reverse engineering, jigs, fixtures, gauges and build to print which helps put ION Precision at the forefront of engineering technology. We also have compiled a full list of our machines and capabilities for you to look at.

Over the years, we have invested in new machinery, personnel and training on complex 3D CAD / CAM packages. Investment in people is essential for a company to grow and training is key. We have implemented a program of education for all our apprentices some of which will go onto university degrees, and with investment of new technology staff are encouraged to partake in new opportunities.

We have a highly skilled workforce and use cutting edge technology to perform all our bespoke engineering. Our design department specialise in special purpose machinery and ensure to meet the individual needs of our customers.

We provide the following services: CNC Machining, Design, Wire Erosion, Quality, Special Purpose Machinery, Support and Toolmaking, all of which we provide from our factory in the North East.
