Investment in new machinery and personnel was essential and training of staff on complex 3D CAD / CAM packages, Machines and production control software has helped to put ION Precision at the forefront of engineering technology. Investment in people is essential for a company to grow and training is key. We have implemented a program of education for all our apprentices some of which will go onto university degrees, and with investment of new technology staff are encouraged to partake in new opportunities. Originally undertaking general toolmaking and employing toolmakers from various backgrounds, we have over the years developed the skills to cover a wide variety of disciplines including the manufacture of semi-automation, full-automation, reverse engineering, jigs, fixtures, gauges and build to print.

Our in-house design department specialise predominantly in special purpose machinery and have developed close working relationships with our supplier base to meet the needs of our customers.  We can supply a full turn key automated solution or integration into existing equipment  providing a first class service to our customers.

Some of our customers include; Nissan, 3M, GT Group, Cummins, Jacobs and more.
