CNC Machinist – Programmer
The successful applicant’s role and responsibilities will include:
- Setting, operating and running a range of 3 & 4 Axis Milling machines
- Tool setting and the production of components
- Loading and unloading of CNC machine tools and fixtures
- The ability to select, set and change tools as required for production
- Working on highly technical products to tight machining tolerances
- Maintaining safe operation by adhering to safety procedures and policy
- Operate computer systems for recording of work activities
- Operate machines to required quality standard and in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications
- Interpret engineering drawings and work with imperial and metric measures to ensure dimensional accuracy
Successful applicants for this role will be able to demonstrate:

39 hours week plus overtime

Toolmaker
The successful applicant’s role and responsibilities will include:
- Toolmaker
- Time served
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience
- Excellent manual milling skills
- Experience of wire erosion, spark erosion, CNC, surface grinding, cylindrical grinding, all desirable
- Experience of machine building desirable
- Qualified to BTEC ONC/HNC or equivalent preferred but not essential
